What is Your Warranty on Custom Metalwork?

When you invest in custom metal fabrication for your home or business, you deserve the peace of mind that comes from knowing the product is built to last. At Ultimate Metalworks, we stand behind the quality, durability, and safety of every single piece we fabricate and install. We offer one of the strongest warranties in the industry because we have absolute confidence in our craftsmanship.

Lifetime Warranty on Structural Welds: The most critical aspect of any metal handrail, floating staircase, or heavy-duty gate is the integrity of the welds holding it together. Because owner Chris Roberts holds a 6G AWS (American Welding Society) Certification. This is the highest and most rigorous pipe welding certification available. We guarantee our welding is flawless. We provide a lifetime warranty on all structural welds. Under normal use, if a weld ever cracks, breaks, or fails, Ultimate Metalworks will return to your property and repair it completely free of charge. We build our metalwork to outlast the life of your home.

5-Year Warranty on Finishes: The finish on your metalwork protects it from the elements and prevents rust. We highly recommend and utilize premium powder coating for all exterior projects, which is vastly superior to standard liquid paint. We offer a 5-year warranty on our powder-coated finishes against major defects, such as significant peeling, flaking, or blistering under normal environmental conditions. Please note that this warranty does not cover minor scratches, chips caused by physical impact (such as lawnmowers or moving furniture), or normal fading over time due to UV exposure.

Installation Guarantee: We also guarantee the quality of our on-site installation. If a handrail becomes loose from its mounting points due to a failure in our anchoring methods, we will come back and secure it.

To keep your warranty valid and ensure the longevity of your metalwork, we ask that you perform basic maintenance. This includes washing the metal twice a year with mild soap and water, and promptly applying rust-inhibiting touch-up paint to any chips or scratches that expose bare metal. If you ever have a concern about the structural integrity or finish of a product we installed, simply call Chris at 984-308-7451. We are a local, owner-operated business, and our reputation in the Raleigh community is built on ensuring every client is 100% satisfied with our work for decades to come.
