Chris Roberts didn't just pick up a torch yesterday. For over 25 years, he has been perfecting the craft of metal fabrication and structural welding. Starting out in the heavy industrial sector, Chris learned early on that a failed weld isn't just an inconvenience—it's a structural liability.
That experience drove him to achieve his 6G AWS Certification. Awarded by the American Welding Society, the 6G cert is the most difficult qualification in the trade. It tests a welder's ability to join pipes at a fixed 45-degree angle without moving the material. It requires absolute precision in overhead, vertical, and horizontal positions simultaneously. Most welders never achieve it.
